Kadaria Ahmed is a media entrepreneur and seasoned journalist. Starting her career at the BBC in London, Kadaria has over 20 years’ experience spanning print, radio, television, online and social media platforms.
Kadaria co-created, produced and presented ‘Straight Talk’, the acclaimed, hard-hitting interview programme with over 4 million multi-channel viewers globally. She was Editor of the multiple-award winning NEXT Newspaper and 234next.com.
Kadaria is a sought after moderator and has handed events such as the Nigerian Presidential debates. She is a member of the judging panels of the Wole Soyinka Center for Investigative Journalism and the Promasidor Quill awards. She is also a member of the Nigerian Guild of Editors.
Kadaria has an M.A in Television from Goldsmith College, University of London and is a Chevening Scholar. She is the founder DM Media Ltd, a company that promotes public service journalism.
