Sada Malumfashi is a writer living in Kaduna. He is the Founder/CEO of the literary arts collective, Open Arts. His works have appeared in Transition Magazine, New Orleans Review, Saraba Magazine, This is Africa, Music in Africa and The Africa Report amongst others. He is a recipient of the Sylt Foundation Writing Residency in Germany and was a participant in the 2017 Goethe Institute Nigeria-Cameroon Literary Exchange Workshop. He was shortlisted for the 2017 Kofi Addo Prize for Creative Nonfiction administered by Writivism. He is interested in the intricacies of languages and works on translations bilingually in Hausa and English. His poem and translations from Hausa have appeared in the National Translation Month Issue of 2017.
